Strengthening Korea–Brazil IP Relations: Bhering Advogados Selected by KOIPA

We are pleased to announce that Bhering Advogados has been selected by the Korea Intellectual Property Protection Agency (KOIPA) as its main partner for assisting Korean companies seeking to protect and enforce their IP rights in Brazil and other jurisdictions in Latin America.

KOIPA is a Korean public institution affiliated with the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. It is dedicated to supporting the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. Our Korean Desk plays a key role in this initiative. Through this partnership, our firm will provide tailored legal support to Korean companies navigating the Brazilian and Latin American IP landscape, including trademark, patent and design protection, IP litigation, anti-counterfeiting measures, and strategic IP advice.

This cooperation is particularly meaningful at a time when Brazil and Korea are further strengthening their economic and business ties, creating new opportunities for companies from both countries. We are honored to contribute our experience in Brazilian IP law and our longstanding commitment to supporting Korean businesses in the region.
