Bhering Advogados is an independent law firm founded in 1978, in Rio de Janeiro, specializing in Intellectual Property and related matters.
Our practice encompasses trademarks, patents, industrial designs, copyright and neighboring rights, anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy, licensing, technology transfer, software, plant varieties, advertising and entertainment law, geographical indications, trade secrets, digital law, and intellectual property litigation, in both civil and criminal matters.
In addition to our headquarters in Rio de Janeiro – strategically located just a few blocks from the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (INPI) –, we maintain offices in Curitiba, established in 2003, and in São Paulo, opened in 2004.
We represent domestic and international corporations, particularly those originating from the United States, Europe, and Asia, as well as their Brazilian subsidiaries, across a wide range of industries, including automotive, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, telecommunications, entertainment, software, engineering, aviation, fashion, sports, food and beverage, among others.
