Bhering Advogados Anti-Counterfeiting Department attends large-scale seizure operation in 3 Brazilian states

At the end of January 2025, Bhering Advogados, in collaboration with agents from the Federal Revenue Service, participated in three search and seizure operations across the Brazilian states of Ceará, Rio de Janeiro, and Rio Grande do Sul.

On January 30, in the city of Porto Alegre, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, approximately 25,000 products were seized, including t-shirts, shoes, accessories and perfumes, with an estimated value of R$1.5 million. For more information (in Portuguese), please visit.

On January 31, in the city of Duque de Caxias, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, an operation at a company and warehouse resulted in the seizure of hundreds of counterfeit products, including backpacks, lunchboxes and cases. For more information (in Portuguese), visit.

Also on January 31, a raid was conducted at 5 wholesale stores in the central region of the city of Fortaleza, in the state of Ceará, resulting in the seizure of thousands of counterfeit products, including backpacks, toys, and electronics.

Our Anti-Counterfeiting department works closely with government agents to strengthen enforcement measures and combat the trade of counterfeit products.
