Our attorney, Carolina Sequerra, moderated Panel 5, “From Idea to a Million: Building Entrepreneurs,” held at the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Arena of the ABPI 2026 Global Meeting on Innovation and Intellectual Property.
The session took place on August 18, 2026, at Arena 2 of the Sheraton Grand Rio, in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The panel explored the entrepreneurial journey of individuals who transformed business ideas into established companies, highlighting the strategy, knowledge, and adaptability underlying the path from an initial concept to a successful business.
The discussion addressed the role of branding, design curation, and intellectual property in business growth, as well as the challenges and real-world decisions that form part of the entrepreneurial journey.
The panel featured Anny Meisler, founder of Grupo LZ, a Rio de Janeiro-based entrepreneur who leads a group focused on design curation and operating across multiple business segments; and Clodoaldo Nascimento, President of ABF Rio, an organization that represents, advocates for, and promotes the franchising sector in Brazil.
