44th International Congress of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI)
At the recent annual International Intellectual Property Congress, organized by the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI) in Porto de Galinhas, Pernambuco, Fernanda Cohen, senior lawyer at Bhering Advogados, moderated the panel entitled “Regulation of Artificial Intelligence in the World”.
The panel presented an overview of the current state of artificial intelligence regulations globally, discussing how Brazil can leverage international experiences to effectively regulate this emerging issue.
The panel included contributions from Lauro Locks, Counselor of the WTO’s Trade and Environment Division, and Bartosz Sujecki, Head of the Intellectual Property, IT and Media Law Practice Group at Van Diepen Van der Kroef Advocaten in Amsterdam.
