At the recent annual edition of the International Intellectual Property Congress, organized by the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI) in Porto de Galinhas, Pernambuco, Fernanda Cohen, a senior associate at Bhering Advogados, moderated the panel titled “Artificial Intelligence Regulation Worldwide”.

The panel provided an overview of the current status of artificial intelligence regulations globally, discussing how Brazil can leverage foreign experiences to effectively regulate this emerging issues.

The panel featured contributions from Lauro Locks, Counsellor in the WTO’s Trade and Environment Division, and Bartosz Sujecki, Head of Intellectual Property Law, IT & Media Practice Group at Van Diepen Van der Kroef Advocaten in Amsterdam.
