Bhering Advogados accompanied agents from the State Department of Criminal Investigations (DEIC) and the São Paulo Police Department on a seizure operation called “Colombina”, Tuesday, February 18, 2020, in São Paulo.

About 3.5 tons of counterfeit goods, including toys, masks, costumes, clothing, buttons, key chains and mugs of famous characters were seized during an operation in downtown São Paulo. Counterfeit products are a violation of industrial property rights.

Bhering Advogados’ Anti-Counterfeiting Department works closely with the police and government officials in São Paulo to strengthen control over the trade in counterfeit products.
