Bhering Advogados will be represented by Pedro Bhering, Philippe Bhering, Alice Rayol, and Clarice de La Cerda at the upcoming 39th Brazilian Intellectual Property Association Annual Meeting to take place from August 25-27, 2019, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The theme of this year’s edition is “Intellectual Property in the new Global Geopolitical Context”.

Philippe Bhering will be the moderator of the 10th Panel (“Intellectual Property Litigation Abroad: Tips for Successful Strategies”) on the morning of Tuesday, August 27th. The purpose of the panel is to present a practical view on Intellectual Property litigation in different jurisdictions, especially in Germany, Brazil, China, Paraguay, and the European Union. Speakers will address currently relevant issues within their respective jurisdictions, including business aspects, also substantive law and procedural law. Common points and divergences among the covered jurisdictions will also be discussed.
