The event gathered South American and European professors and specialists, as well as representatives of the French industry, of the French Industrial Property Office and of the Colombian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, who discussed challenges and solutions regarding Intellectual Property in the Community system.
Partner Dr. Karlo Fonseca Tinoco participated as lecturer and discussed the restrictions imposed by competition controlling authorities regarding contractual obligations, among which the “no-challenge clause” by the licensee over the Industrial Property right of the contractual object, and the “grant-back clause” establishing the retrocession or retro-effect licensing of improvements on the licensed technology.
