Every year, Pride Month is celebrated in June in memory of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising. In that year, people from the LGBTQIA+ community in New York City united in a historic movement against oppression based on sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

Nowadays, June recalls the achievements of this community, reinforces the acceptance and respect for diversity, and encourages the discussion of agendas to ensure the full rights of the LGBTQIA+ population. It is also a month dedicated to valuing love and individual identity.
