From August 23 to 26, 2021, the 41st International Congress of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI) will be held in a completely online format. The theme of this year’s edition is “Intellectual Property and the Circular Economy”.

Partner Philippe Bhering will be the moderator of Panel 5, entitled “IP in Agribusiness: from genetic technology to automation”, which will take place on August 25, 2021, at 11 am. The panel will feature lectures by Edson Souza, Senior Legal Manager for Intellectual Property of Bayer Brasil; André Dias, Senior Managing Partner of Spark – Inteligência Estratégica; and Mariana Caetano, Head of Agro of KPTL.
