Brazilian Defense Minister, Nelson Jobim, held a conversation this Tuesday with French President, Nicolas Sarkozy. The talks included discussions on military, technology and business issues, which could culminate on the signing of an agreement to be disclosed on February 12.

Jobim said it carried a message form President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who would like to see a strategic alliance between both countries on the matter of technology transfer. France already has similar arrangements with India and China.
